However, the levels of whitening agents in these products are very low. As a result, they rarely provide you with the results you are looking for. In-Office WhiteningWe can provide you with incredible results using In-Office whitening. We provide an in-office procedure that takes about an hour of your time. With in-office whitening, we first clean the surfaces of your teeth. Next, a lip retractor is placed to keep your mouth open and a protective gel is placed on your gums. The active ingredient in in-office whitening is hydrogen peroxide. After the gel is applied to your teeth, the peroxide begins to break down into tiny oxygen bubbles. The bubbles then penetrate your enamel, as well as your dentin, clinging to stains and bleaching them away. There are absolutely no changes made to the structure of your teeth. With just one application, your teeth can be whitened up to 8 shades, and the results are noticeable immediately.
Keeping Your Smile BrightEven though whitening gives you back your bright white, confident smile, it is not a permanent treatment.
